1997 Audi A4 Quattro review from North America
"Incredible car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I had to replace my rear brake pads. Due to the higher mileage of my vehicle I had to have the rotors turned down, but they did not need replaced. I did the work myself and it wasn't complicated and was a good car to work on. I had to replace a headlight and two tailights.
General comments?
This car has been great for me. The quattro system is amazing, it has great accelleration, it shifts so smoothly and the the clutch is great. With the independant rear suspension it has world class handling and the seats are firm and hold you in place. It has a very nice layout and is very sporty in the cabin. I would recommend a well taken care of Audi to anyone. They are excellent cars, but must be maintained or they will break and they will be expensive.
