1998 Audi A4 2.8 review from North America
"Beautiful, but not as trouble free as Japanese built cars"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Brakes
trunk lid seal
seems to burn a lot of oil
airbag warning light won't go off.
General comments?
Love the way it looks
drives great
I was reading all the negative reviews about the A4 and wanted to say that we have had generally a pretty trouble free experience so far. I bought it used from a dealer with 59K on it about 2.5 years ago. Now at 101,000 km no major failures, just brakes and other regular maintenance stuff.
