1998 Audi A4 review from North America
"Great cars in winter, look great"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Front tie rods
ABS computer
airbag sensor
digital readout
clutch hi-pressure line
Exhaust gasket leak took a while to find.
General comments?
I have 105k miles on it, one owner. I like the car so much I bought a 97 for my son this week. The 97 is a 1.8T auto, so we will compare it to the 2.8 5 speed over the next few years. Both are black. In our area, piece of mind in winter makes the quattro worth it. I also have a 2003 TT that is a wonderful car. They do have their costly repairs, but obviously I think it is worth it. With a Honda I'm sure I would have more money in the bank, but they are so boring.
