2001 Audi A4 B5 review from North America
"Nice little preforming car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Turbocharger Went out 36k miles requested the dealer to change it before it was bought at no charge.
Vacuumes had to be replaced (spraying oil onto the inter-cooler somehow) 43K miles $200.
Flasher hazard relay switch had to be replaced at 45K $40.
Differental Seals started to leak at 46k $250
Tie Rod Ends had to be Replaced 50K $180.
Lights keep on dieing (Rare and Front) changed all lights about 3 times sence owned.
Timing belt will have to be replaced at 60K just to be sure it doesn't break and size my engine.
CD player is starting to go out
Driver door starded saying its not shut on the screen even though it was stoped after a while tho
door handle is breaking on the inside of driver door, sunroof won't work sometimes at the first try, cupholder won't work sometime, button to heat the legs will make any other button not work if pushed, passenger heated seat does not heat the back.
General comments?
Nice car, can preform good if kept over 3000rpm, slow of the line, car is pretty reliable because its been rare ended, hit from the front and the side and still runs like new. I changed the oil every 4000K miles with mobile one synthetic and its been running good so far except for the few things above.
