2001 Audi A4 3.0 quattro review from Hong Kong
"BMW 3 series is a better driver's car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Horn failed.
Anti-theft alarm system failed.
False alarms from DIS (driver information system) on engine oil level.
Oil leak from automatic gearbox.
Frequent light bulb failure.
General comments?
The car has some generic electrical faults.
The tiptronic gears are not responsive at low speeds.
Using the manual gear selection buttons on the steering wheel helps to make the gears more responsive.
motorway cruising at 100-120 KPH is ideal for this model, not quick lane changes as it lacks punch.
Quattro system is good in wet road conditions.
its heavy weight makes it more stable in windy conditions.
