1985 Audi Coupe GT review from North America
"Best Audi ever built"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
CV joints, alternator, temp sensor, that's it!
General comments?
My Audi GT mania began in 1988 when I saw this grey 1981 coupe at a used car dealer. Bought it $ 2000, still use parts from it today, glass, etc.Bought a 1984 Coupe GT,Then a 1985 / 87.5 Coupe l drive today. I love it!!
Mods are 2.3 L special build engine out of low mile roll over 1987 1/2 Coupe GT, Boge Turbo Gas shocks, 7 spoke chrome wheels, performance exhaust, K & N filter, ram air induction, Alpine,PPI,nakamitchi sound.
This car is truly a sports car that seems to get better with time. The cars exterior has intoxicating lines. The interior still looks factory, seats still very supportive, the greenhouse with its steep angled glass and moonroof feels very open. Very easy to drive. Great fun car!!! Never will I part with, well for a Mint Coupe Quattro maybe.
