1995 Audi Coupe review from UK and Ireland
"A one to keep - it fits me like a glove"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Ignition switch replaced.
When I first got the car, I replaced radiator, water pump, thermostat and hoses as precautionary measure, as well as all filters, fluids and other consumables. It was also due for a timing belt change so that was done as well. New Pirellis and a killer stereo with an active sub completed the package.
General comments?
At 75000 miles the engine feels fresh and smooth and burns no oil. The auto box is flawless, especially in the "sport" mode.
Paintwork still looks good, although the bright red color is starting to fade a little in places. Still looks great though!
This car is more of a fast cruiser than an all-out sports car, which suits me just fine. Ride is comfortable and not too much body roll. Seats are fine, but it could do with adjustable stearing column.
This car has a timeless, classic, understated look and the top notch Audi construction quality is evident.
