1990 Audi Coupe Quattro review from North America
"There is a void in my heart since I sold it!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Differential, rad, ABS brakes, short in power seats,
noisy rear hatch, door leaked in car wash and slammed closed on my leg(repeatedly), throttle cables, gas line leaked,
General comments?
It was a blast to drive.
It got looks from everyone and a few slack-jawed
ogles.
With snows on it was unstoppable in the winter.
I drove it through one the harshest Canadian
winter's on record and it performed flawlessly.
It was expensive to maintain, but I didn't care
because it was so damn cool. This car had character that I've yet to experience since.
(maybe a Porsche will be similar)
I sold it because it was too technically complex to keep as a "summer car" when I leased an A6.
However, as a daily driver it was superb.
