1990 Audi V8 Quattro review from North America
"Great car, but but demands a great mechanic"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Ignition sensors replaced.
Engine sensors replaced.
Alternator replaced.
Timing belt snapped.
General comments?
Had a lot of problems with trying to get a good mechanic to work on the car... lost almost 2K because of incompetent mechanics till I end up getting one dude (Hans in Toronto) that fixed the car in 2 hours issues that had taken other mechanics 4 months to not even fix.
I had even got dealer recommended mechanics and they could not even fix the car.
Car timing belt finally snapped and Hans advised that it was not worth it to fix the car. The car was great when it was on the road with no issues. I absolutely loved it, that why I was maybe blinded and continued to try and fix her.
She is now resting in my driveway as a parts car.
