2003 BMW 3 Series Convertible SE review from UK and Ireland
"Superbly engineered and comfortable driving machine"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Centre airvent faulty --- replaced without question under warranty.
General comments?
Not only is the car superbly built it has a gem of an engine. It really is an effortless drive and the powerband is huge, progressive & seamless. Although petrol it has excellent low down torque.
It is SE spec as I wanted the 'softer' ride. There is a trade off in handling, but this remains excllent for my driving style.
I have the removable hardtop which is quality and turms the car into a stylish coupe for the winter months.
Leather is a must and in beige contrasts beautifully with the dark blue paintwork.
I didn't buy new thankfully as the car has approx £5000 of extras which include some things that you would expect as standard on such a car.
