2003 BMW 3 Series 320i review from Australia and New Zealand
"Timeless Classic which Shines"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing.
The car had been serviced correctly and used sparingly. Cannot fault it.
The service cost is reasonable considering it is every 25,000 klms.
General comments?
Reliable, comfortable, sporty with enough power to handle tight spots.
I could not believe the comparison with a Lexus IS200 which is supposed to be the equivalent of a 320i. The Lexus cabin seemed smaller, car had less power and overall was far less appealing. Maybe Lexus make better cars now.
The 320i is a timeless classic and it is such a shame that the E90 version is a 4 cylinder. We sold our E36 318i to buy this beauty and would not consider going back to a 4 cylinder. Even the E36 318i is a better car than the Lexus IS200.
