1995 BMW 3 Series 320i Cabriolet review from UK and Ireland
"Classy, respect and street cred"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Leak of coolent that turned out to be a leak from bottom of radiator, so gel rad well sorted that.
I need new discs and pads, as they have pitted as the car was sitting for a year before I bought it.
General comments?
I've had two saloons, and this is my first cab, and inside they drive the same, all being 320i. You do get the odd squeek and creek as it is a cabriolet and the car is 13 years old, but
with an MP3 head unit on, the sounds go away.
Leather seats are comfortable and classy, and with a mohair roof, roof up or down, it makes you want to drive it all day.
It feels like a firm family car, but is a sports car that handles great, gets great respect and attention, and it's a BMW.
Engine is chain drive on the 320i, so no worries about a cambelt snapping, and high miles should never put you off; even if they reach 200+. As long as you have a service history, don't turn it down.
