Would you be so kind as to tell me what sort of performance i. e top speed, ride & handling, & fuel consumption figures you are getting? I own a BMW 323i 1999 E46 Series manual & I would like the information for comparisons sake. My e-mail address is teltrading@iprimus.com.au.

Best Regards

Thomas Lodge.

Had the same motor. Very poor fuel consumption - struggled to give 20mpg around town and gave 25ish mpg on long runs. 0-60 is 8 seconds, quicker than the 320i that replaced and a shade quicker than the latest 320i. Top speed is 130mph. The E30's handling is sharper than the 'softer' models that replaced it. Many say it's the best 3 series to own and drive. Smooth yet sharp. Ageing now though!

The 325i does 0-60 in about 8 seconds. The 320i does it in about 10, but it will do about 130 top end. Fuel consumption not great. I average about 26 mpg. Great fun in the wet, especially on roundabouts!
