1993 BMW 3 Series E30 318i Convertible Lux review from UK and Ireland
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Bought car for £10.500 - May 28th 99, 61,500 miles.
Had lookover 21.06.99 for:
CamBelt replacement - routine.
Fan clutch.
Fan belt.
Timing belt.
Exhaust.
PAS belt replaced - but there still is sometimes a groaning noise when turning the wheel - remedy still not found.
Bill came to 574.93 at my local main dealer.
General comments?
It is one of the most gorgeous cars in the world. I love it to bits. The only problem is performance it is SO slow. But it IS a 318i. Next time round I will go for a 325i, 328i or an M3 Evo.
