1991 BMW 3 Series 318is review from North America
"A sports car in a sedan body"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Water pump replaced at 80,000 Miles
Lower ball joints replaced at 105,000 Miles.
General comments?
The car handles like an INDY car. It has a very strong 4 cylinder engine. With the five speed manual transmission it is very fun to drive. I added a K&N air filter and noticed a significant improvement in horse power.
This car lives up to and surpasses its billing as the replacement for the BMW 2002.
