1994 BMW 3 Series 325i Coupe review from Malaysia
"Excellent coupe, but not very durable"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
There are too many things that have gone wrong with this car! It has been rather shocking to see the amount of bills that I had to face since the day I got this car. On the day I got this car, the interior door panel on the left hand side fell off, and that was just the begining. The wheel bearing on both side went bad within 1 month, aircond stopped working, etc. the total bills came out to be around 7,000 USD since the first day of my ownership. the car depreciated at the rate of 10% a year, and in effect, I lost about 15,000 USD in total over the 3 years. Some of the things that needed to be repleced are as follows: Autonators, Gear Shaft (Broken & Cracked), Aircond Compressor, etc.
General comments?
The car is one of the best Coupe that I have ever owned. I had M3 kit with 17 inch racing dynamics wheels, and it looked very slick & nice. This car is quick, smooth, but madly expensive to maintain for this class of car.
