1997 BMW 3 Series 318i SE review from UK and Ireland
"A real driver's car!!!!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing wrong with car so far...
When I got it the cigerette lighter didn't work, but after changing the fuse, everything was fine..
General comments?
An absolutely great car to drive.... It handles really well, and even though people say the 1.8 engine is slow, it can be nice and nippy when needed and beats a lot of cars off the lights without too much hassle.. It also has a lot of punch in gear...
Seeing as I'm 22, it doesn't cost as much as you think to insure and servicing is only a little more expensive than lesser make's main dealers...
Oh, if your looking at buying a BMW, get one with aircon and deadlocks.. It makes a huge different to comfort and nickability... Aircon doesn't hit fuel economy that badly either...
