2002 BMW 5 Series 540i review from North America
"High performance, superb handling, quality car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Speedometer inaccurate - Reads 5 miles/hr too high and dealer can't fix.
Sometimes car won't start then after turning key off and on again starts fine. Dealer says can't find anything wrong.
General comments?
This car has been the best handling car I have ever owned, even better than my Corvette.
Stops on a dime and acceleration is fantastic.
Outstanding quality control as should be expected from BMW.
Dealer has been a disappointment though. Can't seem to fix anything. Lucky not much to fix.
If you want a car that holds four comfortably, but handles like the best sports cars this is it.
