1984 BMW 5 Series 518i e28 review from Greece
"Just perfect"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Battery replaced at 130.000km and 300.000 km.
Alternator rebuild at 200.000km.
Wipers motor rebuild at 280.000km.
Seat fabric worn at 250.000km.
4 gear transmission replaced by a 5 gear one, just to gain 5th. 180.000km.
General comments?
The vehicle is a limo.
Build like armored. No rust no problems.
Fantastic brakes even without ABS.
Handling can cause heart attack when wet and tires are worn out. Perfect when dry.
Didn't even change bulbs in headlights!!!
