1994 BMW 5 Series TDS SE review from UK and Ireland
"BMW at their best"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The car kept on cutting out when you put full lock on, or when you came to a junction. If you left the car for 3 hours or more, you would have to crank it over 3 times for it to start. This was caused by the fuel pump, and for the other problem the manifold had to be done.
General comments?
A nice comfortable good performance, reliable car.
You get the 143bhp perfomance and there is no turbo lag either, it is fantastic. They also supply engines for Range Rover, the Vauxhall Omega and the Rover 75, so that shows you how good BMW engines really are.
