2005 BMW 7 Series 745I review from North America

I have lusted after this car for several years and finally got one. I cannot say enough positive things about this car. The body styling is very sexy and I just can't stop admiring it. The interior is extremely comfortable and is a real drivers car. For all the past remarks about the cup holders, well, BMW engineers seemed to have figured it out because the cup holders in my car hold an extra large cup of coffee every morning without a problem. Also, past revues posted here complained of the quality of the stereo. This car has one of the best sound systems I have ever heard in a car. And finally for the complaints against the Nav system, BMW has addressed that by running it on a DVD which is extremely fast and intuitive with the rest of the vehicle. I also own a Corvette, which use to be my preferred driver, but not any more.

The BMW rides like a dream, handles like the Vette and accelerates with gobs of torque.

I read several reviews on this model prior to purchasing it and many editors put down the I drive feature. These editors must still be typing on manual type writers, because within a few days of driving the car, the I Drive becomes second nature.

I would highly, highly, highly recommend this car to anyone who enjoys driving. All others can go buy their Lexus and drive on a marsh-mellow.
