The brake servo needed replacing at £700.
The two batteries needed replacing.
The very fast car, which can do 155mph+.
It is a very well built car.
It has the looks, that most cars dream of.
The rear leg room is very tight, even for a small child.
Somebody can help me with my inquiry. the 850i has dual batteries. one is in the right and one is in the left side. the left side battery is together with the jack of the car. the right side is hidden from view. now, if you take out the negative side in the left side battery (the positive side is still connected to the left battery), the car still will start and run with the right battery connected. Question is, if the left battery is disconnected and the right battery is connected and it will run, then what is the use of the left battery if takes only one battery to run the 850i?
The batteries are wired in parallel so the car will run on either battery.
They are both 12 Volt batteries.
I think they couldn't fit a battery on the centreline of the car and if just one were to be fitted at the back in one of the available positions it would result in uneven weight distribution Left/Right so they fitted two for better balance, helping it get a perfect 50/50 weight distribution front/rear.
Anyone got any better ideas?
