1975 Bricklin SV-1 review from North America
"Low cost head turner sports car. Fun, but not practical"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Door leaks. Changed the gaskets and no go.
Plastic over the headlights blew off on the highway.
Doors would freeze shut at 31 degrees and you had to release the air piston to raise them.
General comments?
Generally a great car for low cost.
Very cool when the doors opened.
You had to be a part time mechanic to keep it on the road.
Mine was serial#16 so it was early production.
Great concept, but even the Delorean was more reliable.
