1987 Buick Century Kimited review from North America
"Over all good car if you have some cash for minor repairs before they get major"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
First off the transmission slipped in and out of gear, and it rumbled when I first got the car for $3,800 then the rear main seal was leaking oil heavily at 140,000 miles also the oxygen sensor went out, at 147,000 the pwoer door locks shorted out and kept draining my battery, cruise control shorted out, the car needed struts at 164,000 miles the inside door handle broke, the head liner started saging, the doors leaked when it rained, the power brake booster went out, and the car needed new front and rear brakes, at 179,000 miles the car needed a muffler, that same day it ran like crap and I needed to put in a new coil pack into it, drove it 18 miles home, the starter went out, I got fed up and sold the car fo $50.00.
General comments?
This car had lots of power, but I had no more money to put into it, currently I own a 1990 buick century with 100,000 miles 3.3 liter 3300 series v6, automatic, it gave me no trouble except I just replaced the starter.
