1991 Buick Century Custom review from North America
"Engineering Marvel, my hat's off to Buick"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Air conditioning compressor at 146000 miles.
General comments?
Diamond in the rough. My friend was going to junk the car, he thought the engine was seized. It was such a nice car, I bought it for $50 and worked on it myself. It turned out the compressor was seized and I had the car running for another $50.
Beautiful car, strong running 3.3 V6 even with 164,000 miles. Doesn't burn a drop of oil and has awesome acceleration when needed. It feels much sportier than a 4dr sedan.
Wouldn't sell the car for $2500.
