1987 Buick Century custom review from North America
"Continual problems, but not a bad ride if kept up"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Power steering was gone when I got the car, but only when you turned to the right.
Starter went just befor I got rid of it. was a real pain in the rear to replace.
Brakes continue to fail with no reason that can be explainable.
Ecm failure caused engine light to come on. Would have sudden loss of power and the sudden gain. Would just stall out with no warning. 100$ to replace the ECM.
Gas floater stuck on the full position, and gas tank leaks from 4 different spots. along with 2 gas leaks in the fuel line.
General comments?
Car does run good when it wants to. Very quet and a lot of power from the little teck 4 engine. Allison tranny seems to never fail and always shift smoothly.
Seating is very impressave and very comftorble. Seats 6 and sometime a couple more.
