1978 Buick Electra Limited Sedan review from North America
"A low cost, high performance pimp ride"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Transmission has leaked for 3 years now, I just keep adding fluid.
Replaced A/C compressor and recharged/converted/retrofitted to new freon system. Cost more than I paid for the car.
Replaced all four shocks and both front coil springs.
Replaced Alternator.
General comments?
This car looks like a barge, but it sure fools people on the strip when it smokes the tires and shoots off like a rocket. This car has little problems once in a while, but they've been cheap to fix except for the A/C. You gotta have that for those hot summers in the big easy. This car rides like a sofa on wheels. Even though it's big, It still can maneuver pretty good for its size. I'm tellin ya, there's nothing like rollin in a big ghetto cruiser, chrome mags, stereo bumpin', hunnies in the back, fool!
