2000 Buick LeSabre Custom review from North America
"Has a few minor problems, but good in the long run"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
First off, I know several owners of this same model have had problems with the window motors going out. Fortunately we have not, unfortunately the former owner did and replaced all 4 window motors; since they've been replaced he has not had a problem, and now that we own it, we have not either.
Main thing is the air conditioner compressor, it went out on us just today. The bad thing is about the set up and with most new cars is if the AC compressor is out, it messes with the whole system, and if it stops, your car will stop.
Being that we live where it is cold, and the man we purchased the car from lives where it is cold, the AC is hardly used. Makes it even more unfortunate that it messed up so soon.
We have 69,000 miles on the car. I know every car needs repairs here and there, but I read of another person having the same problem when their car was only at 49,000 miles.
I love the car, haven't had any problems till this.
General comments?
Great comfort, smooth ride, lots of space, and runs extremely well. AC and Heat cool and heat extremely fast. In general a great reliable car.
