New auto tranny at 180k.
Hard starting for a while but fixed that.
Very reliable car, nice and roomy.
Fairly cheap to buy parts for and repair.
Leather interior wears nicely even after driving every day for 13 years.
I had a 87 Buick LeSabre, it was a piece of junk, it had power, had comfort, but my tranny line leaks, no more power steering, had to change the steering column, the exhaust fell off, and many many more problems!!!
I also have an 87 Lesabre, it needs a steering column, tranny lines leaked, main front and rear oil seal, timing chain went (had to put new pushrods in because of it),power windows broke, power seats broke, ball joints, cv joints all bad, and fuel pump. This is the worst piece of junk i'v ever owned. I think Chevy should shut down the Lesabre division, because the lesabre = garbage!!
I just bought my 1988 T Type for 800$ and I love this car 211000 miles and don't even need paint maroon the only thing I need is a left rear tail light lense I have one original and one all red from a 1986 I need a T type this is a great car.
Have a '88 Buick LeSabre T Type and love it! Comfortable leather seats smooth ride, cheap on gas and most of all brings in attention. Went to fill it up once the gas clerk said "Pump 7 on for the Buick car thing. Went in to pay for gas and people kept on asking what type of car it was.
