1990 Buick LeSabre Limited review from North America
"The lemon that never breaks"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Timing belt broke, was replaced.
Bent valves because of timing belt break.
3 blown CV joints (my fault).
Burned piston (my fault, it was a nitrous oxide overdose).
Nothing else exept for regular maintenance.
General comments?
The car performs like a sloth on morphine. The springs feel like they're jello, and the engine just makes anemic noises under the hood, but it doesn't make the car faster, even with open headers and nitrous.
However, the mushy suspension and the massively padded seats make you feel like you're driving your favorite easy chair around, and I have had 8 friends in the huge interior (no lie!)
The drivetrain is incredebly reliable for the strain I put it under. At least 4 burnouts per day, and I have only broken 3 CV joints.
