1985 Buick LeSabre limited review from North America
"Runs better than a lot of newer cars"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The alternator blew and was replaced. my heat doesn't work for some reason, the car does not overheat, but I will change the thermostat to see if that the problem. valve covers leaked, but are fixed now.
General comments?
Well first of all I got this car from a salvage yard for $850 they had other cars, but I fell in love with this one. it needs paint and a new leather top other than that the car runs very strong everthing is power and works. I also own a 00 malibu with 58,000 miles I liked the buick more as far as ride and reliability. I had a question for readers who have a buick. I want to know if I would have any problem putting wide tires on the back, size in question 265/50/15 will they rub etc.. I have asked in some tire places, but all they tell me I could go up is one width size which is not true because in the past I have put 245/60/14 on the back of a 280zx with no modifications any info appreciated.
