Had the window moter on both sides replaced at 50,000 miles pinky on window drivers side at 55,000 at around 75,000 miles the A/C compressor went bad and at 90,000 the radiater internal cooler fore the transmission leaked water in the trans. at aroung 125000 miles had a intake gasket leak water into the Eng. Repalced headliner at 130.000. repainted the car at 189.000. this car has been the best car I have ever bought, My son is driving it now and the kids at his school love the car and are looking to find one like it. the leather seats have been replace at the same time as the car was painted, this car looks and drives like a new one and shuld last fore 10 more years.
The car rides great and after over 180.000 miles it's still quick the eng is verry tight. never had any problems with the trans and still has the factory struts on the car.
I bought an '89 Buick Le-Sabre T-type and the car is a sweet ride, although I had it to a mechanic and poured some money into it, 1,400 to be exact. I am trying to restore the car to it's original, I would like top know if there is anyone who would know where I can get interior parts like the grille cover for the vent closest to the windshield, and parts like that. Otherwise, the car at 188,000 miles is still going strong. Jim, Baltimore
I'm on my Second LeSabre T-Types and I love them. Great Cars at 200,000 I replaced the motor and the car still rides like a dream and is as mechanically sound as most cars I've seen. everything is solid little rust and I plan on painting it in the spring. The factory 3800 is a great motor tight and lots plenty of power to make that car fun. I love my t-type and plan on keeping it for a good long time.
