1993 Buick LeSabre Limited review from North America
"A luxury automobile"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Only one major problem which was at 60000 miles. The transmission went out after a long road journey. It had to be replaced and was a large expense. However, the staff at the garage was very nice and had us back on the road within 48 hours.
The other problem was my fault and led to the purchase of a different car. I made an illegal turn at an intersection and had a collision with a large pick-up truck. The car was not a total loss, but I decided it was a good excuse to get a new car (which by the way, was a new Buick LeSabre).
General comments?
The car was excelent and wonderfuly comfortable. It had all the bells and whistles that you would expect to find in a luxury automobile.
The gas milleage was not that good. I averaged 22 miles to the gallon in the city and 29 miles to the gallon on the highway.
The seats were extremely comfortable. You felt relaxed and at-ease even during rush-hour trafic.
