1987 Buick LeSabre limited review from North America
"Best car I ever owned"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Struts are starting to go. trans can't take full tilt boogie up to 1st 2nd shift point, but otherwise works good.tires, starter, alternator, timing chain (160,000 miles) Headliner sags, right window-drive rod broke. Trunk will not open w/h key. only electrically.seats OK.
General comments?
Power-still amazing at 174,000.I now drive a Chevy Astro w/h 4.3.climb out of that and into the Buick and have to feather the gas. This has been the best car I have ever owned mechanically and as you see I bought it at over a 100.000 miles. It is being passed on to my son. with new struts the ride is great. I have very few complaints interior quality as mentioned above could use improvement at the factory.
