1993 Buick LeSabre Custom (90th Ann.) review from North America
"Very dependable and economical!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Brake line rusted in two and had to be replaced.
Typical brake work performed (pads, rotors, etc)
Engine had a miss when I bought it... spark plugs and plug wires fixed it right up.
I was able to talk with the previous owner who bought it new. He had very little trouble with it. It may have required some minor transmission work at some point.
Started shifting a little rough. A quart of Lucas Trans treatment seems to have helped (about 1000 miles ago).
General comments?
I really like this car. It's my daily to/from work car (about 94 miles per day).
Love the gas mileage of 27-29 mpg. Does not seem to matter how or where it's driven. Don't see how it could be beaten for a car of this size.
