1978 Buick LeSabre review from North America
"Truly GM... Mark of Excellence!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Transmission seal failed at approximately 110,000 miles.
Started to seriously rust in the front rockers.
General comments?
One of the best cars I have had the opportunity to own. This was a 2-door LeSabre that was little old lady owned when I purchased it from his son. It had sat for at least 3 years, but ran fine with a general tuneup. This car ran, drove and rode beautifully. All accessories worked well and it operated just like a new car. I gave all of $700 for it. I finally got rid of the car after someone threw a ball bearing through the windshield. My next car? A 1985 Buick LeSabre Station Wagon. An equally fine car.
