Driver side heat seat went out.
Good road car comfortable.
Many amenities without high prices.
Lots of interior room.
Great highway miles (30 + mpg)
Great car.
I will always purchase a buick.
It's the best car I ever bought even against my cadillac.
Two weeks ago, I bought a 'used' 2000 Buick Le Sabre Limited. The car looks perfect, has 69k miles, and according to a check with local Buick dealership, the car has had all it's "recalls" and updates serviced when announced. A middle aged man... like me!
Two small issues showed up the second day at home.
(1) the DIC oil pressure and 'idiot' displays showed either "0 psi" or "129 psi". Replacing a sensor near the oil filter fixed both matters ($97 part/labor).
(2) The 'smart stick' (L/R signal, wipers, Hi/Lo/Pass lights) did not seem to keep the lights in Hi-beams. I felt stupid learning how pulling back hard on the 'smart switch' and ratcheting once for Hi and again for Lo. I had an '03 Corolla previous. Ha ha.
Fuel mileage (MPG) has been expected in-town, but better than expected on highway (22/36 mpg). VERY happy about both. My '03 Corolla would give the SAME MPG on highways. That's 3800cc V6 vs 1800cc in-line 4.
The Owners Manual was lost so... I found brand new copy on eBay ($17 delivered). Also bought the two volumes for the Service Information Manual ($25 delivered). Those volumes equal TWO Yellow books! The Owners Manual got me through the DIC programming (I turned OFF the horn chips and chose 1 of 4 versions of turning ON/OFF the door locks, and the Perimeter lights). There's a LOT to read if you WANT to. Hahhahha.
I have searched thru many comments about the door window motors and about the intake manifold failures. Neither matters are THAT expensive to fix/replace when you have some automotive experience and tools.
Oh about driving the car. Love the seats. Love the smooth ride. Love the quiet. Like the curvaceous exterior. And NOBODY else in the neighborhood has ever had a Buick. :^)
