"If the windows wouldn't break all the time; great"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

The window regulator on all 4 doors have gone out!

I own both a 2000 and a 2001 Buick Le sabre, and at.

Some time every window regulator has broken. I.

Have gone the inexpensive route and had them wired.

Closed at a cost of about $20.00 a pop! I had the.

First one replaced by a local dealer at $400.00.

And then decided I couldn't afford to keep doing.

That. There has to be a recall, because I hear

from everybody that this is a known problem!!!

General comments?

The car drives well and is very comfortable, but.

Having to fix the windows all the time is a huge.

Pain.

I have a 2000 Buick LaSabre Limited also & had 3 windows go out by 50K miles and I jimmied the 3rd because of the excessive ($400) repair costs. One was covered under the vehicle warranty & one under my Geico extended warranty ($250 deductible). I also had front end Rack & pinion problems and brakes that had to be replaced all @ 50K miles. This is the 1st vehicle I've owned that the brakes went this early (I'm normally very easy on brakes). I'm been trying to buy American, but probably not again, after this experience. The car does get excellent gas mileage (about 30 mpg @ 75-80 mph) and is a nice size vehicle with an extra large trunk, but the leather seats aren't very comfortable for long trips. I've got 75,000 miles on it and am now afraid of the possible engine stalling problems and transmission problems I've been reading about.
