1984 Buick LeSabre Limited Coupe review from North America
"My first car, and hopefully my next!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
History: My grandmother bought it off a friend and later passed it on to my father who in turn gave it to me as my first car.
Transmission rebuild at 105,000 miles.
2 cylinders dropped shortly before selling the car.
Floor boards were rusting through.
General comments?
The only thing I would change is the way I treated it since it was my first car.
This car was a tank. While the 307 Olds wasn't the best suitable engine for this car in my opinion, it did hold it's own going up against anything my friends had. It survived many races in the school parking lot as well as nose to nose push battles.
Car was hit 1 day after getting a new paint job in 98/99. Parts were so common that it was fixed and repainted within 4 days.
