Not many problems considering the high mileage.
I've replaced the brakes 3 times, but with none of the typical flaws referenced for this car.
2 fuel pumps.
The rear suspension leaf spring gave out due to all the luggage & sales samples, so I had it replaced.
2 A/C compressors & 2 dryers.
A radiator.
2 cooling fans motors.
An A/C fan.
A window motor & the antenna motor. 3 starters.
This along with regular stuff: tires, struts etc...
This is now a spare car, our dating car, etc... If it sits for a month the exhaust will smoke slightly for about a mile. This car has had very regular maintenance, and has been all over the country with me.
The velour upholstery is still in great shape, and after 300,000 miles with me the bucket seat still fits my bucket.
This car will still Rock-n-Roll!
Even though much of the factory paint is gone, the wife still likes to take it for a spin sometimes. Says it handles so much better than her Olds.
Even though it is a 1991, it still looks like the current body types.
That mileage is pretty impressive. I think there are an unusual amount of older Buicks on the road. It is not uncommon to see a LeSabre or Century from the mid-late 80's used as a daily driver here in the Mid-West. Sometimes I even see older ones. Of course you see other makes from this era too, but I seem to notice more older Buicks than anything else. Maybe it is because they tend to be owned by elderly folks who put very few miles on them and keep them for years. Then they have a lot of life left when they are finally traded. But the same could be said of full-size Ford and other GM products from the same era, but you just don't see nearly as many of them.
