1991 Buick Regal Custom review from North America
"A fast, reliable, comfortable, but not hip ride"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The brakes are a bad design.
The odometer broke 5 years ago.
The actual mileage is 170,000. I am not sure of it though.
There was a $600 dollar electrical short caused by a bad starter.
General comments?
Pros:
Car has great pick up and power. I can outrun almost any stock Japanese car.
This car has that great Buick cushy ride with the cushy seats.
It handles better than expected, but not phenomenally. But when driving on a straight road the car practically drives itself. A great interstate cruiser.
Has the conservative and timeless styling.
Has been very reliable.
It was my mom's car. Now it is my 1st car. And it was free!!!
Cons:
The paint is faded, has bird crap spots and is peeling on the bumpers.
The brakes suck. Very mushy pedal.
Has the conservtive and timeless styling.
