1991 Buick Regal GS review from North America

The on board computer went bad a few weeks after the purchase of the car in 2001.

Had to replace the radiator as a result of one of the two fans making a hole in it due to one of the plastic mounts breaking.

While it might look like the car your grand mother drives under its exterior is a monster. Its 3.8L v6 puts out more than enough power to make all, but the most picky happy.

While handing is not as good as I would like I have found that the tires on the car make or break it during inclement weather. The original tires that were put on when I purchased the car in 2001 were complete crap and I finally had them replaced. I now have Kelly tires on it and have found handling to be improved not only in rain, but in regular driving.

During my year of driving the Regal Grand Sport I have also have the misfortune of getting into two accidents with this car. Simply put this car is a rock and it will be the other car that has the majority of the damage.

Reading the other comments on this page I have gotten the impression that the brakes could have been better designed. While the car does not stop on a dime I have found the braking system to be adequate and have had no major problems other than the need to replace the front brakes.
