1992 Buick Regal Limited review from Colombia
"A typical American combination of comfort and power in a great quality automobile"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The ABS light is always on, but brakes function OK.
The transmission slips to neutral when stopping if in Overdrive. If you move the lever to neutral and back to OverDrive, will function perfect until the next stop. In the city I always drive it in Drive with out problem.
Parts are expensive and scarce in this country, so you are implicitly rich to the eyes of common Colombians. Sometimes that is not safe.
General comments?
Buick cars are not very common in Colombia, even though they were very common during the 40's, 50's & 60's.
The people who appreciates this car the most are older people who remembers what Buick quality meant years ago.
In the city of Cali, where I live, is a very exotic car. The only difficulty is with the police, who have a very hard time figuring out why a car that to them seems brand new has a license plate of 1992.
