1987 Cadillac Allante Convertibile review from North America
"Bottom line, Collector's Edition says -- Allante, if you don't have one - get one now"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Motor mounts needed replacing when purchased, and a few piddly things since then.
General comments?
Caddy really blew it when they discontinued it... blend the handling of a Ferrari with the comfort of a Cadillac and you have an Allante... a real rocket.
Most people think it's a new car and it's incredibly rare to see them... everyone is impressed.
Impossible to get the performance, looks and IMAGE this car gives you for anywhere near the price they can be had for.
Only a few thousand of them in the world... definitely a collector's item.
