1999 Cadillac Catera review from North America
"Nice comfortable ride"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Replaced fuel pump, brakes of course, new battery, transmission.
General comments?
I love my Catera. I bought this car at a local car auction, and after two weeks of driving it, the transmission started slipping. I drove it for two years and the transmission finally gave out. I decided to replace the transmission even though I had already purchased another auction vehicle, because I love the ride and the comfort of my Catera.
It gets good gas mileage even when it wasn't running so great. I have replaced a few things on it, and it seemed they all decided to go at around the same time, but it did have over 100,000 miles on it and it was 8 years old.
Sorry to hear everyone is having so much trouble with theirs. I'm glad I stuck my money in mine. I love it.
