Nothing major, just keeps wanting a lot of Premium fuel.
Just another update. The Catera still lives! She now has just about 90,000
miles on her. She is still running strong. I have noticed a couple of rust spots on the left and right rear passenger doors. Cadillac is working with me to correct this. I am impressed because I am the second owner of this vehicle and I am being treated as if I were the original owner! As always if anyone has questions about the Catera, you are welcomed to EMAIL me at:

Just an update. The Catera forementioned is now at 100,000 miles and still running awesome! I had to put a MassAirflow sensor in it. The problem first showed up with my check engine light on. I took it to the dealer, they said it was a fuel filter. Changed that--wasn't that. I took it back in again, they said it was an Oxy. sensor. The computer kept giving codes like "Left Bank too Lean". I then took my Catera to a private Mechanic. He diagnosed it as MASS Air Flow sensor. I replaced it and all is well now. The Caddy dealership wanted over $400. to install a MAF sensor. My mechanic did it for $200.00 and it was done in 20 minutes! Dealers apparently don't know too much about the products that they sell, that is a shame. Find a private mechanic who is not afraid to work on German cars. By the way, Cadillac fixed all of my rust, even though it was out of warranty. My next vehicle will either be a 2000-2001 Catera or a CTS (Many people don't know this, but CTS stands for Catera Touring Sedan). Good luck and godbless to all my fellow Catera owners. As always, if you have any questions email me at: Witch1204@netscape.net (FEB.21, 2006)
Please, I need your help ASAP. I just bought a 99 Catera about 6 mouths ago, and it overheats standing still, but driving is no problem.
