LOVE THE CAR!!! Would Gladly Buy Another One... believe it or not... it's worth it. You wouldn't appreciate it unless you had blown by both a 575 and an M5... as I have.
I too love the CTS-V having driven one. My favorite US car. What year (or gen.) M5 did you pass? On paper, both the 575 and newer M5's should be faster if racing.
"So it's an old person's car with a hammer under the bonnet... that said, it is quite a big hammer. Not clever, not sophisticated, but you do get 400 brake horsepower."
-Jeremy Clarkson, the host on the British TV show Top Gear, said this while reviewing this car in 2004. This is a man who goes after America and our cars every chance he gets, but when Cadillac came up with something he liked- Cadillac Sixteen concept, Cadillac CTS-V- he told people so. If Cadillac can improve the CTS-V's interior and get rid of those cheap materials Clarkson and others have complained about, Clarkson himself just might buy one. If they had made it, he definitely would have gotten a Sixteen.
Um, I also like the 2006 CTS-V. However, it has a 6.0 ltr. under the hood. Not a 5.7 ltr.
Just saying!
