This is one amazing car, I hope it will last me through college.
The seats are the most comfortable I have ever sat in. I recieved this car from my Uncle and have many fond memories of this car growing up.
My next job to tackle is the interior, I will have to redye the leather and replace some panels. at some point I need a new head liner. This headliner dents with the slightest amount of pressure.
Though the driving expirence is amazing, I always seem to get up to speed without trouble and often speed with out knowing it.
Having 275 lbs of torque is amazing though it can make it difficult for driving in the snow and ice.
With snow tires the Deville handles like a champ and has no problems when there are six inches of snow on the road!
The gas mileage is not the best as I average around 11-12 mpg in town though we do have a lot of hills to overcome. On the highway it gets about 20-22mpg which is reasonable for such a big heavy car.
The onboard gas mile per gallon gauge is not accurate though I think that is a problem with all Cadillacs equiped with.
Just wondering about your highway mileage; at what speed do you travel (on average) when you get 22? I ask because I've found that there can be a significant difference between mileage at 55-60, and at 70. I don't have a DeVille, so I don't have a point of reference. Thanks.
