1985 Cadillac DeVille review from North America

Water pump.

Valve cover and gaskets.

Door hinges.

Brakes.

Brake and Fuel lines.

Fuel pump.

Needed a new gas tank because the old one was badly rusted.

The cars got rust, but hey the cars 23 years old.

We love our Cadillac. We still get great comments on the car, usually people would say "its too bad they don't make cars like this anymore."

They would also say that they love this car.

And say "This car is still running? Wow!"

This Cadillac has been the best car we ever had. Its not expensive to take care of. I make fun of all my friends with this car because they have to make payments on their cars because they have new cars, and have to pay for gas as well, but I just put extra money on gas because mine is long paid off.

We call it The Love Boat because it's a lovable car, and feels like driving a boat. It rides so smooth we don't feel anything when we are driving.

This month we went to a Ford dealer to trade in our truck for a new car, but when the saleswoman said the new car we were looking to get had heated mirrors (like we really cared) I just went to her "so what??".

Then I said our 85 Cadillac has heated mirrors, but then this woman said to us "Then instead of trading in the truck, how about trading in your old car with heated mirrors for a brand new car with heated mirrors?" We just got so pissed off at her that we just walked away and left.

We will never give up our Love Boat. My wife said we have to get a new car when this one dies, then I said to my wife this car won't die!!! I then said "To be honest with you honey, I'll probably die before the car!
