Bought it used So far no problems. Just that pesty Service Ride Control comes on once in a while. Hit the reset and it's gone not going to shell out a fortune for a little more smotther ride.
Also the ignition key problem is a pain in the neck. Sometimes when you go to start the car the DIC says Theft deterrent system caused car not to start. So ya sit there and count down 3 minutes and hope it will start. Somethimes ya count down a few times. Now if someone was running after me with a club and this happened I got no time to wait 3 minutes to start the thing. I'm outta there lol. Otherwise runs great sometimes hear some type of realy clicking under the glove box give it a smack and it usually goes away.
Great car, but has a lot of Annoying messages on the DIC every now and then. A piece of black electric tape across the DIC stops that.
Does your key have a chip in it? You might want to use a different key or clean the existing, as a dirty key will cause that symptom. My 1998 TransAm had that problem.
